Ongoing competence isn’t optional when you’re servicing life-saving equipment, it’s essential.
Last week we welcomed Paul Taylor to our workshop for a two-day 3M Recertification Training and Accreditation audit, focused on the inspection, servicing, and compliance requirements of 3M fall protection blocks, winches and tripods.
The programme covered:
Detailed strip-down and inspection procedures
Manufacturer service criteria and tolerances
Technical updates and product developments
Compliance alignment and documentation standards
Best practice in ongoing maintenance and record keeping
Bill, Johnny and Steve all successfully completed the re-training and accreditation, ensuring we continue to meet 3M’s exacting manufacturer standards.
It was also a valuable opportunity to review evolving safety guidance, discuss industry best practice, and gain fresh insight into developments across the 3M fall protection range.
Manufacturer-approved servicing isn’t just about a certificate on the wall — it’s about maintaining competence, protecting warranties, and ensuring every piece of equipment performs exactly as designed when it matters most!
