BHB Team Completes Specialist SAR Working at Height Training

Bill, Steve, and Johnny recently participated in a SAR training course on 17–18 December, focused on safe working at height and advanced rescue techniques.

The course covered key practical and technical elements, including correct positioning on rooftops and ladders, casualty rescue from height, and formal PPE inspector qualification. The training reinforced best practice in both prevention and emergency response, ensuring continued competence when working in high-risk environments.

Delivered at Oldham Football Stadium, the course benefited from realistic, real-world training scenarios that closely reflect the environments our teams encounter on site. This setting allowed for highly practical exercises and meaningful application of techniques in a controlled but challenging environment.
