Our BHB 2-day certificate for those new to working in confined spaces.
We offer an intensive 2-day in-house course designed for professionals working in confined spaces. Our training is conducted to the highest standards, ensuring that participants are fully qualified to manage the unique challenges of confined space environments safely. Equip your team with the expertise and confidence they need to excel in their roles.
Course overview:
Prepare to work safely in low and medium risk confined spaces
Enter and exit a confined space safely
Work safely and monitor the work team to ensure procedures are followed
Use of gas detection equipment
Understand the principles of working in confined spaces
Understand standard protocols for working in confined spaces
Understand entry controller duties and responsibilities
Understand equipment checks and inspection required
Deal with emergency situations
Candidates will be assessed by:
Practical observation
Written exam
This course does not cover the use of full Breathing Apparatus.
Course Prerequisites:
Candidates must be medically fit to undertake the training.
Candidates must not exceed 140kg (22 stones) weight limit for the fall protection equipment used.
Basic English literacy skills for written and verbal assessments.
